Montreal Fashion Week

The 16th edition of Montreal Fashion (MFW) week kicks off next week from March 2nd to 5th, at Marché Bonsecours in the heart of Old Montreal. There, the hottest and most talented local, established and up-coming designers will be presenting their 2009-2010 Fall/Winter collections.

Marché Bonsecours - 350 St-Paul Street East

In addition to the regular fashion shows, Sensation Mode has brought back Le Showroom for its third edition. Le Showroom is a popular aspect of MFW, and is essentially a marketplace for buyers and sellers. It welcomes nearly 100 exhibitors and gives designers and manufacturers an ideal environment to conduct business.

Yussie and I are really looking forward to attending a few shows next week, including Dinh Bah, Muse By Christian Chenail, Ralph Leroy and Myco Anna. We will most definitely be reporting back on Montreal Fashion Minds about our experience, so stay tuned for photos and all the juicy details!

And great news for you Montreal fashionistas dying to attend….

For the first time ever, Sensation Mode is offering last minute tickets to the shows! All you gotta do is show up at Marché Bonsecours (350 St-Paul Street East – Champ-De-Mars Metro) between 4pm and 8pm from March 2nd – 5th. Tickets are only $25 each.

Don’t forget to say hi, if you see us there!

Thanks for all the comments ladies!

Stephanie - Big ups to the Montrealers! lol We really like your blog, great job!

Vivian - Thanks! We work as a team, and arent currently looking for other full time writers, however if you have a really great Montreal fashion story, review or interview, we would probably consider doing a type of 'roving reporter' feature. So if you have anything like that, feel free to e-mail us, and we can discuss it! Thanks for expressing your interest!

Janet - In Montreal its $25 a ticket to see 1 show. So if in Toronto you get to see more then 3 shows within the day, its probably more worth it over there!
